clock is ticking,
tides are ripping.
what could have said, left unsaid,
what have missed, made now beautiful.

recently, there is this dude challenge to greet me in different ways every time starts a chat. I found it quite interesting. until this came up...

Give me not roses for they fade away with its beauty,
Instead remember every second of every minute of every day when I'm with you,
Give me not chocolates for they melt off easily together with all its flavors,
Instead tell me fairy tales about us ending with happily every after...

and I couldn't hold my itch to reply...

Giving you roses for its beauty that doesn't last,
as moments it bloomed with glory dwells in your heart,
Giving you chocolates for they sweeten your heart with its flavors,
hence delightedness sprinkles over tales you long to hear...

and pei shan, wrote the other way round (edited)

roses will fade but was once beautiful,
not to remember when no action was taken
chocolates will melt off but was once filled with sweetness,
fairy tales will vanish when reality hits and nothing ends happily ever after without efforts...

look, we are not professional writers, just have a laugh and rock on.

This morning I smelt something weird with the laundry area in my condo, truly yucky smell. Surprisingly, there was a half-way-fried fish laying outside at the edge of our laundry area window. Never thought of the neighbour from upper level could have fry their fish until fly their fish out of the kitchen. :P *amazing*
