Looking forward

An Impression Meeting after the performances we had split into, back together sharing the knowledge and experience we've learned throughout the past 2 months, learned from mistake and move on.

I am not Strawberry kind of girl (you know pinky pinky type?). Well, at least I think I am not, but this time I was amazed by the juiciness and the size!

Look at that! I couldn't finish it after 5 bites, imagine that VOLUME!

Seremban Charity Cultural Night II

Wanted to do this few years back, to remember the moment I am on the stage.

On the stage, we are told to have the winning heart, we have won over the hardship and the fear, facing the audience proudly as we have achieved great victory, I never felt so happy on the stage, so fulfilled and so want to share the joy with the audience, encouraging people who are hopeless, rejuvenating people who are tired of life, I was not acting.

Grand finale of all performance.

the last rehearsal.

on the way to Nilai stadium. Departed from Cheras at 7am.

rising sun

after 3 hours sleep. looking cheerful and energetic, this is what we call "the great spirit". those are my little girl friends.

at lunch. this is the t shirt that I designed for the Soka Gakkai Malaysia Kiboo Koteikitai Twirlers. Concept based on "As bright as the sun, as pure as the moon."

I have promised them that I will be there with them on Friday, after setting up SPINOBOT at Central Market Exhibition Hall. So touched. They said that they will wait for me.

I was too busy at the rehearsal, not sure if I can get any pictures of us later on.

What I do.

Some of my friends wonder what i do during the weekend. I would say I go for practice, when they ask what kind of practice, I would say, "hmmm... dance", afraid that I have to explain more. No, I don't do that now, because I need to let some of them know what is that exactly. I spin flag, we call ourselves flag bearers/twirlers, talking about what we are recently preparing for, is a charity performance in Negeri Seremban, with a marching (music/brass)band and flag bearers ( color guard ). Live music!! and movements. Oh yeah, I just broke an instrument during rehearsal, I was squeezed in between the trombone and a timpani in front of me. Luckily that could be able to put back together. It happened when I was swinging the flag to the back, when I swing it back to the front, it was hooking a piece of the brass instrument thing, the slider, from the player standing behind me, I think I could have hurt his lips too. It was embarrassing.

They are amazing, see those flags? I think they are having bigger flags than ours.

Irondale High School Marching Band. If you realize there are white gun-like items, they are wooden mock rifles, one of those marching band equipments.

closer view with how a flag being twirled.

Besides, in our group Kotekitai, twirlers, we have metal baton as well.

My younger sister twirls that.

I have just started playing flag this year, for age of 15 -2 years ago, I was in another group, additional apparatus for the twirling group - hoop. Adopted from rhythmic gymnastic.

Of course I am no where near that standard.

that's what I practice for during the weekends.
