new new new year

It is new year, and for chinese everything is about new new new. Head to toe, hair, clothes, nails, shoes, may be glasses, necklace, rings, last but not least, under garment. I am getting into the "trend", as well as things in red for chinese is symbolic of good fortune and happiness. So I got a totally red dress for the first day of Chinese New Year, my mom was quite surprise, as I never got anything like that before.

begining the year of the rat

This year is the first year that we celebrate the entire chiense new year in KL. As my grandma is not convenient to move on her own, so we did not have to go back to visit her in Tangkak, Johore. Currently she is staying with us.

Family and I visited the new year meeting as what we do normally on the first day of chinese new year.

It has been a while that I have been to the Dewan Filharmonik Petronas. A rainy evening I left work earlier. I was quite frustrated with the traffic and made it to the hall, with all my siblings.

Proud and glad that, we got to witness a very good traditional performance of our country and culture. An all Chinese Dikir Barat group from SGM Kelantan, and Hands Percussion brought us drums percussion with manipulation of various traditional instrument, such as gong and gamelan and with some additional sparks from jazz drum.

I was very very glad to see such precious culture preserved and expanded with creativity.

henna / hina

26 years old or onwards will be the age that I am going to do a real tattoo. why 26 ? let it be a secret.

I don't really know why do I want to do a tattoo, except that is a body art or skin decoration, of course not that pain and pleasure thing. I am not going for that, therefore, I am still giving a thought about it. I guess i'll be experimenting some art forms and position of a tattoo on my body by using henna - hina tattoo / Mehndi
