another rushed hour, came to this yin yoga class 7 minutes late, but i was lucky enough to attend my first class with chris and also may b the last class with chris. It was his farewell class.
for the first time i practice my eye balls muscle!
Environment: Dark room.
Tools: Yoga mat, yoga blocks, candle, paper, fire
Step by step:
1: sit up straight, cross legs, palms on thighs/knees, shoulder relax
2: place the candle on top of 3 yoga blocks, paper under the candle
3: light in front of your eye level, can be slightly lower than eye level
4: measure the distance with your one arm length
5: look at the flame for a while, calm you breathing
6: inhale, then exhale, look at the flame for 1 minute (open eyes wide and do not blink, let the tears flow if there are)
7: close eyes, look at the flame in the eyes/heart until it fades off
8: repeat step 6 & 7 for another 2 times.
Caution: close your eyes or blink when the eyes feeling too dry with contact lens
Note after:
The third time of this practice, my eyes was flowing with tears, teacher said it is good. As i was wearing contact lens. I saw things turned into grey except the flame of the candle. We can always stare at the flame from the candle wick - the blue flame region
crown chakra, palms together, palms on the third eye - I might see all that is creation and through this place may I always see love.
palms on your mouth - May all I say be truth and be truth that is known as universal truth.
palms at your heart centre, so that I will always be compassionate and be not afraid
there might be some difference with the affirmations that i stated above, however, these are the things that come in the end of yoga classes that really inspired me and made me aware of surroundings and life.

may peace always be with you. namaste
